Getting Started

How do I get my school involved?

add remove

Complete a simple Expression of Interest form here. We'll be in touch to ensure we align the program with your school's unique characteristics and requirements.

Will I need to create / join a team?

add remove
We'll create a team for your school in the City2Surf registration flow. When students register for the event, they'll select your school as their team.

Is there a registration fee?

add remove
There is no fee for the Students for Premmies program, however each City2Surf entrant will need to pay the normal race entry fee. We recommend getting in early to secure the earlybird entry fee.

Do students have to run?

add remove

No! It’s up to each person to decide if they run or walk the 14km distance. The City2Surf is a really fun, casual event.

Fundraising

Is fundraising compulsory?

add remove

Fundraising in the Students for Premmies program is optional. We encourage fundraising throughout the program because every amount helps give premature babies a better chance of survival.

What are the fundraising target rewards?

add remove
All participating students, parents and teachers will receive a free running t-shirt to wear in the race.

Students, parents and teachers will enjoy refreshments post-event at our perfectly located hospitality tent adjacent to the finish line. Get a massage, show off the new bling and cool off with JIVA drinks and Christopher's Cakes.

Students who raise over $500 will receive a variety of fundraising rewards aligned with healthy lifestyle and NSW Dept of Education policies.

What's the best way to fundraise?

The best way to fundraise is to start early, upload a picture to your fundraising page and write a personal story of your reason for participating in the City2Surf.
