Your school will join teams from other Sydney schools all Running for Premature Babies, creating a special camaraderie in the race and at our finish line hospitality tent.
Saving Lives
Funds raised provide urgently needed neonatal equipment, saving the lives of sick and premature babies. To date, over $9 million has been raised, benefitting over 10,000 premature babies.
Run for FREE
All school team participants will receive a free t-shirt. Those who raise $300 will be eligible for a race entry refund and will RUN FOR FREE.

HOW IT WORKS
Join Us
Teachers, we'll send you the link to share with your school community, inviting them to join your school's team to get fit, have fun & save a baby's life.
We’ll send every participant a free running shirt and anyone who raises over $300 will receive a race entry refund.
Build Compassion and Resilience
Each student will receive their own fundraising page, linked to your school's team. Fundraising is optional but encouraged and rewarded.
By arrangement, our Running for Premature Babies founder, Sophie Smith OAM, can visit your school, share her personal story, talk about the charity and it's impact, and inspire your students.
Go the Distance
Every participant on a School Team who raises over $300 can have their race entry fee refunded in full.

Learning Objectives
The achievement of novel activities like this will reinforce cross-curriculum PDHPE learning objectives and the development of self-learning and interpersonal skills. This strengthens positive self-identity and the recognition of personal strengths and the strengths of others.
Through fundraising, students learn the benefits of altrusim and the joy of helping others in the community. Quite simply, your school's participation in the City2Surf will save the lives of premature babies.

What's the best way to fundraise?
The best way to fundraise is to upload a picture to your fundraising page and write a personal story of your reason for participating in the City2Surf. Share the link to your page with your family and friends, letting them know you're taking part to save a baby's life.
What is the money being used for?
Funds raised in the City2Surf will provide life saving neonatal equipment for Neonatal Intensive Care and Special Care Units around Australia, giving sick and premature babies a better chance of survival.
